With the current global pandemic creating a drop in demand for oil how are people viewing the future of the industry?

Will the push for a new ‘Green’ global economy mean the long term demise of the industry or will we see surge in demand when we return to normal after the virus is under control?

James, I think oil will always be needed to a certain extent. Even EV need (at least partly) fossil power plants, cant fully rely on renewables. In Switzerland, one of the greenest countries, renewables account for 60% of energy production, 40% is still oil. Maybe demand will be lower, but existing anyways. Agree?

I completely agree with you Mr.Fabrizio, even with the existing demand of oil and other energy the demand for their equipment will also keep on existing and even after that. Having the project based on the equipment of all this energy transportation came across Buttweld pipe fittings, forged fittings, flanges, fasteners, round bars, square bars, hexagon bars and many more things can you help me with some of the topics as it will be a great help.
